About us

 The Department (PAM) founded in 1963, which is one of the first four professional departments in advanced study of the Chinese Culture University (PCCU), and it is also the first in Taiwan to cultivate administrative professionals. At the beginning of its establishment, the department focused on the education of general administrative knowledge and technology, with the goal of cultivating domestic public affairs management personnels. In response to the innovation and refinement of modern public administration theory and practice, as well as the rapid development of science and technology, the Department was restructured and transformed into a full-time university department in 1997, and was affiliated to the School of Law, and later transferred to the School of Social Sciences. Since the restructuring into the Day School Department, the successive heads of the department are Chao-hsiang Chu, Li-ming Yao, Shih-Hsien Chang, Chiong-en Wu, Shiao-yun Yu, and the current head of the department is Professor Rong-yang Huang.

    The department currently has 7 faculty members, 14 adjunct professors and 1 administrative assistant. Full-time and adjunct teachers have doctoral degrees from well-known universities at home and abroad (including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and other countries), with the required expertise and rich practical experience in the department's courses and provide students with a diverse and solid faculty lineup to ensure students' full rights of learning.
